Looking for a simple Father’s Day craft that kids of any age can help put together? This “Hands Down” kids’ handprint craft is fun to make and so easy too. Only a few materials and an afternoon are needed to make dad a Father’s Day gift he is not likely to forget. Happy Father’s Day to all the great dads out there!
- Poster Boards
- Construction Paper
- Glue Stick
Have your child trace their hands onto construction paper, or help them do it if they are younger.
Cut out the handprints from the construction paper.
Glue each handprint onto a sheet of poster board.
Write the phrase “#1 Dad Hands Down!” on the top of the poster board. You can also use any other phrase you like, but that is the one we went with. Yes, I know one of ours is purple and pink, but what can I say, I have a boy is not afraid of girl colors.
Total cost of this handprint Father’s Day craft is minimal. We are talking $.25-$.50 at most! Great if you are on a budget.
