Hands Down Father’s Day Craft

Looking for a simple Father’s Day craft that kids of any age can help put together? This “Hands Down” kids’ handprint craft is fun to make and so easy too. Only a few materials and an afternoon are needed to make dad a Father’s Day gift he is not likely to forget. ¬†Happy Father’s Day to all the great dads out there!

Materials:

  • Poster Boards
  • Construction Paper
  • Glue Stick
  • Scissors
  • Crayons

Step 1:

Have your child trace their hands onto construction paper, or help them do it if they are younger.

Step 2:

Cut out the handprints from the construction paper.

Step 3:

Glue each handprint onto a sheet of poster board.

Step 4:

Write the phrase “#1 Dad Hands Down!” on the top of the poster board. You can also use any other phrase you like, but that is the one we went with. Yes, I know one of ours is purple and pink, but what can I say, I have a boy is not afraid of girl colors.

Finished Project:

Total cost of this handprint Father’s Day craft is minimal. We are talking $.25-$.50 at most! Great if you are on a budget.
